Bed at 1am up at 4.15am

Today I’m on my way to Northampton to meet the Barbados crew, I’m also meeting Sabina (the stylist) for the first time, eesh! She emailed me the other day introducing herself, bless. Its all very exciting, the videographer is flying out from Rome for one day for todays meeting. Its going to be about all the creative ideas, hair and makeup, stills and clips and the styling (of course!) I’ve been a little geek and printed off some images of ideas I’ve had in my mind, the main thing I seem to think of is BINTM 2011’s shoot in Miami, gorgeous! My first train was from Preston at 6.16am (too early) but now I’m on my last part of the journey and passing beautiful white fields of snow and frozen lakes, this is what winters all about. And here’s one of the models we’re taking to Barbados. ITALIAN VOGUE!! She’s going to be out of this world, I really do need to clean up on my healthy eating if I plan on spending 3 weeks in Barbados with a load of super skinny, super tall, super gorgeous models!! I’m going to a meeting with the crew [meeting the stylist for the first time] on the 6th of Feb, to hopefully give some creative input on what we’ll be doing whilst we’re out there. Eek, there’s important people and then there’s me from St. Anne’s, trying to give all I can. Wish me luck.

Moving on..

Monday I’ve got a meeting with the photographer who has employed me to style 6 shoots for him, to show him what I have so far, let him know where I’m going with it all and get my next instalment of the budget. I’m sooo excited about this little project, I’ve gone all rock-chick chic, statement fabrics, texture, some amazing accessories! I’ll get some pictures up as soon as we start shooting and you can let me know what you think. Ciao for now xo

I was at a gig last night..

Which obviously was amazing, The Coustics rocked it as always. But I kept seeing people I hadn’t seen for a while, and they’d been following my blog and twitter whilst I was in London with Fabulous. I got a lot of ‘You’re my claim to fame’ ha.. One day! Though I did feel slightly important buying 3 copies of the sun today, part of me wanted to blurt out ‘I HELPED ON THE MAIN FASHION SHOOT AND IT WAS AMAZZZING!!’ but obviously I didn’t because I’m more mature than that (; I did it in my head though.

HELLO (: I’ve been waiting for this weekends Fabulous Magazine before I blogged again. This is the 3 model, 8 page story I assisted on whilst there, the outcome is amazing!! Pretty upset they missed me off the credits [I even noticed a sticker on the sunglasses that were being shot, which the stylist and her assistant hadn’t noticed, so I ran on to save the day, hehe] but I guess that’s fashion (: I know I was there and it’ll still be going in my portfolio. Feeling like I’ve achieved a goal, one step closer to my dream. The stylist Tracey is AWESOME though and I would love to be in her shoes one day.. SO GO BUY THE SUN TODAY! [pleaseeeee]

Unfortunately and understandably I can’t upload a lot of the images I took, because they are of S/S2012 and A/W2012 unreleased trends [but take my word, this year is a year to look forward to] also I have pics of a shoot that will be in the magazine on Jan 28th with my name as ‘Assistant Stylist’ WOOO! BEST DAY EVER!!

The biggest shoot out of the three possible shoots of my internship and definitely worth the wait! Two weeks of my life have never been more worth the hard work. Watch this space (; On Jan 28th my name will be in Fabulous magazine as ‘Assistant Stylist’ on the main fashions, which is eight stories!! What a thing for my portfolio, I’m so excited (: AND Tracy (Fashion Director - AKA the important one) said as I was leaving ‘I won’t see you now, thank you so much for all your help, I don’t remember everyones name but I’ve remembered yours from the start, you’ve been brilliant’.. Can I have that in writing please?! Hehe. Ciao for now xo

It’s shoot day!!

So I’ve steamed 3 full outfits for 8 stories, plus extras for the brights and the floral. Was served breakfast by the studio and now they’ve taken our lunch orders :0 also, I’ve discovered a little pot of delightfulness in the shape of a fridge full of goodies. So far that’s one redbull, one diam bar and a bag of minstrels (how healthy for my new year plan, FAIL) models are dressed, just finishing hair and makeup (: this shoots massive for their shopping issue. The photographer is mental, the hair stylist is an old italian man (: and the models look great in the clothes. I’ll keep you informed. Ciao for now xo
